Method: Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC)

Results: The battery of all organisms tested at dilution
101 - 102 organisms/0.1 ml demonstrated complete inhibition (no growth) in all of the Triclosan dilutions after 24 hours of incubation at 35ºC. The inoculums of 103 - 104 organisms/0.1 ml demonstrated MIC results at 24 hours as follows:

Conclusion:
Laura Line Antibacterial Soap containing Triclosan 2170 ppm, DIN # 02078317 inhibited the growth of Escherichia coli at 1.0 ppm, Pseudomonas aeruginosa at 200 ppm, Serratia marcescens at
400 ppm, Staphylococcus aureus at 0. I ppm, Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus faecalis at 100ppm and Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus at < 2ppm Triclosan.
